DISNEY PARKS & RESORTS EXPERIENCE
I worked at Disney and created magical web and mobile experiences for Disney Parks and Resorts. The main projects that I collaborated with designers, engineers, project managers, and copywriters are:
1) create a better guest experience for FastPass, a holistic system that allows guests to reserve access to select theme park attractions, entertainment, and character greetings in advance.
2) streamline the check-in experience for Disney resorts and vacation planning features in the mobile app.
I conducted exploratory and evaluative research to create user flow, wireframe, prototypes, and mocks. The final mocks were iterated based on user feedback and leadership review. Additionally, I created an accessibility document for the voiceover feature.

DISNEY SQUAD
My team’s idea got selected for a launchpad event - a shark tank style platform for pitching unique ideas to a panel of Disney executive leadership- so we had an opportunity to present the Disney Squad project.
One of the challenges when guests visit the park as a big group is that it is hard to communicate and compromise the plan together. It gets even harder to communicate and stay synchronized when the group separates.
Disney Squad is a real-time group planning tool that helps groups of guests with casual in-park planning and coordination and provides a shareable keepsake throughout the park experience.

EASIER GROUP PLANNING & ON-THE-SPOT COMMUNICATION
Through Disney Squad, Guests will seamlessly plan their trip either for their group or as a group. During the trip, Disney Squad makes group planning and on-the-spot communication easier with Poll, Status Update, and Meet Up features.
STATUS UPDATE
The status update feature makes it easy for guests to give a quick update on their status. There are ready-to-go messages like “On my way!” that guests can send with a tap, so they don’t have to switch between apps to send a message.
POLL
The real-time polling feature expedites the planning and gives everyone a voice by allowing them to vote on which plan they prefer. It helps to communicate and compromise about the plan together, even group separates.
MEET UP
Meet up feature lets the group easily sync up with each other even after they separate. They can simply drop the pin to set up a meetup spot or search the exact location.
PULL TO REFRESH
As part of the event to leverage our digital products for creative theming, I created a concept for the pull to refresh series and presented it to the leadership. I imagine that this pull to refresh will be triggered based on the next plan the guest has and where they’re in the park to bring a more consistent, delightful experience.
